Door & Window

Inspired by the ornamental architecture of Antwerp’s historic streets, this project explores doors and windows as expressive elements within the urban façade.

By combining photographs with pixelated forms, I created a contrast between abstraction and reality, preserving the texture of the original references while translating them into a more graphic visual language. As the project evolved, the focus shifted from the closed door to the window as a space of visibility and connection, allowing the background to become an active part in the design.

The final piece brings together multiple architectural fragments into one connected visual environment, balancing atmosphere, structure, and digital reinterpretation.
